do you know that all of us feel that when our computer is formatted & reinstalled the computer is very much fast but slowly after some days people say the computer is going slow. So lets take a inside view of the computer to understand what does really happen to the computer after some day.
If you want to make it faster as it was before then try my methods :
- check your disks for bad sectors containing errors & corruptions. To do this go to My Computer => right click on the drive you want to check => properties => tools => click on Check Now => tick on both options & click start. The disk will be checked for bad sectors & corruptions.
- to defragment your disks. Many file in windows are fragmented. This happens due to deletion of data from the sector windows has kept it. This basically happens in the Windows directory ( c: ) because Windows writes & deletes data for it use thus leaving lots of fragmented files in computer. So to defragment your disk go to My Computer => right click on the drive you want to check => properties => tools => click Defragment Now => select the drive you want to defragment & click on defragment =>then the process of defragment willl start and thus your computer will be defragmented.
- disable some of the services like Indexing Service. The indexing service helps to search file faster by making the content indexed. But it reduces the speed of the computer. To disable this service visit My Computer => right click on the drive you want to check => properties => uncheck the " allow file on this drive to be indexed in addition to file properties => OK . this will disable the indexing service. (Note: do not turn of computer during this process.)
- kill some of the process that are not used by you using task manager.
- download and install TUNEUP Utilities. It is a very good tool to optimize the speed of the computer.
